It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellis Thomas of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Joseph Duell and Villa Mae Duell (Cooley); her grandsons, Scotty Edward Thomas and Andrew Sublette; and her siblings, Daisey Marie Duell, Byron Joseph Duell, Jr., George Edward Duell, Marshall Lavon Duell, Jack Edward Duell and Ray Duell.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph E. Thomas; her children, Jeffery Thomas (Christi), Timothy Thomas (Maria), Richard J. Thomas (Heather) and Janet Driskell (Christopher); and her sisters, Tootsie Mae Bell (Huey), Earline Gould and Emma Watts. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great- Grandchildren.
