She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carey and Ruth E. Carey Hobbs (Clarke); her son Clint Eugene Vinson; and her grandson Elec Robert Northam. She is survived by: her children, Ruth Vinson, Patricia Vinson, Melinda Vinson Northam (Rick), Jaynice Vinson Neely (Steve) and Marcus Neal Vinson (Debra); her sister Patricia Carey Bond; her grandchildren, Danielle LeFavour, Eddie LeFavour, Marcus Clint Vinson (Alissa) and Clint Michael Vinson; and her great grandchildren, Castle LeFavour and Bane LeFavour.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church or Creature Comforts Animal Shelter in Quitman, MS.
