With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Ernest Elam Jr. of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on September 26, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ernest Elam, Sr. and Mattie Ruth Elam (Mosley); his grandson Scott Harrison Elam; and his son-in-law James Steven Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Connie Gayle Elam; his children, William David "Bill" Elam (Sarah), Connie Esther Patterson and Henry Ernest Elam, III (Sherry Phelps); his grandchildren, David Patterson (Rachel), Lauren Davis, Eric Patterson (Tina), Chase Elam (Jennifer) and Alison Elam White (Billy Jack); and his great grandchildren, Gabe Patterson, Alex Patterson, Naomi Eve Ziebell, Reese Davis and Amber Elam.
