He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie J. Reeves and Mimi Shultz Reeves (Shultz); his siblings, Alvin Reeves, Curtis Reeves, T. C. Reeves, Jimmy Reeves and Myrtle Singley; and his granddaughter Alexandria "Alex" Reeves.
He is survived by: his wife Virgie Earline Reeves; his children, Susan Diane Busby (Peter), Ronnie Reeves (JoAnn), Jerry Reeves (Kim) and Richard Reeves; and his siblings, Al Reeves (Mary) and Gladys Robinson. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Edward's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or to The Gideons International.
