She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Ann Atchley Brewer and Bobby Dewitt Brewer (Oscar James "Jim") of Clarke County, MS.; and her daughter Shanna Lynn Austin. She is survived by: her children, Dannalie Austin Malvaez (Paul) and Brutus Chad Austin (Melissa); her grandchildren, Robert Paul Malvaez (Audrua), William Chad Austin and Sara Grace Austin; and her sister Jane Pendleton "Penny" Brewer Barber.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations in Babs' honor be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman, MS.
