She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Foster and Mary Estell Foster; her husband John Alvin Ashmore; and her brother Ruben Foster. She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Gail Salter (Carl) and Sharon Porter (Bill); her grandchildren, John Salter, Alan Salter (Kelly), Chase Porter and Matt Porter (Anna); her great grandchild Emma Salter; her niece Paige Alexander (Larry); her great-nephews, Brandon Alexander (Adriana) and Zach Alexander; and also Elodie Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church in Pontotoc.
