He is survived by: his daughter Terri (Kevin); his grandsons, Keegan and Sean; his great grandchild Katie; his son Joseph (Sarah); his granddaughters, Jodi, Codey and Sandra (Christian); his great grandchild Sebastian; and his nieces and nephews, Denise McCraney (Steve), Sondra, Rene, Sabrina, Nila, Melanie, Shelby, Tristin, Stan, Sam and Josh Johnson.
Sam received a citation for his contribution to the success of his mission.
