It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merton Addison Lawrence of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Lawrence and Lillian Lawrence; his wife Florence Lawrence; his children, Stanley Lawrence, Kirt Lawrence, Michael Ratcliffe, Norman Ratcliffe and JoAnne Brumley; and his brothers, Lyle Lawrence and Frank Lawrence.

He is survived by: his children, John Lawrence, Joyce Peshek, Marilyn Adams, Cindy Wadel, Lynn Etherton, Margaret Lee and Carol Gonzales; and his sisters, Lorna Lawrence and Norma Castine.
