She was predeceased by: her parents, Shun Robert Owen and Katie Lee McGee Owen; her husband Robert H. Jenkins; her siblings, Sudie Owen Hutto, Mildred Owen Marsh and J. W. "Pete" Owen; and her grandson Joshua Douglas Rouse.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Rouse (Phillip Barrious) and Robbie Jenkins; her granddaughter Shion Jones (Matthew Jones); and her great grandchild Joshua "J. J." Rouse McCullogh.

They also donated the baptistery and several pews.
