She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shute and Ida Mae Shute of Coila, MS.; her husband Dwight L. Ensign, Jr.; and her siblings, Burnease Shute, Leola Elizabeth Shute Pentecost, Ernestine Shute Bass, Irene Shute Fortinberry, Marion Augustus Shute and Margaret Shute.
She is survived by: her sons, Dwayne (Betty) of Pelahatchie, MS and Michael (Robin) of Laurel, MS; her grandchildren, Amber Neary (Patrick), Kayla Ensign, Holly Ensign, Silas Ensign and Bethany Ensign; her great grandchild Connor Neary; and her sister Josephine Shute Watson (William E. Watson, Jr.).
