He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maynard Vries and Dorothy De Vries (De Cook) of Pella; his wife Laura Shearer (Laurie) of Pelahatchie, MS; his stepchildren, Antonio J Martin II of Bellingham, WA and BreeAnn Martin of Holland, MI; his mother-in-law Ann Shearer of Holland, MI; and his siblings, Mary Dowie (Jim) of Pella, Matt De Vries (Kelly) of Pella and Martha Verhey (Tim) of Hendersonville, TN. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
