She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Burgess and Annice Burgess. She is survived by: her grandsons, Drew Carter, Josh Carter, Reed Carter and Ben Carter; her nephews, Stacy Stevens and Shane Carter; her husband James Roy Carter; her sons, James Douglas, Don Burgess (Penny), Chris Patrick (Michelle) and Doug (Wendy); her granddaughters, Anna Grace and Leah Kathryn; and her sister Shirley Burgess Stevens.
