With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Grace Davis of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, born in Rayville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Lacy Smith and Agnes Welbourne; and her former husband Cecil William Vaughn. She is survived by: her husband John Ray Davis of Pelahatchie, MS; her children, Tonya Vaughn Bagbey (Richard) of Monroe, LA, Cindy Kelly (Patrick) of Morton, MS, Cecil "Skipper" William Vaughn, Jr. (Allison) of Maryville, LA, Randall "Randy" Aaron Vaughn (Lori) of Rayville, LA and John C. Davis (Aletha) of Morton, MS; her siblings, Judy Watson of Watson and James Smith of Texas; and her grandchildren, Grant Brook, Summer Cole, Lacy, Will, Taylor, Anna, Madeline, Ashton, Madison, McKenzie and Abby. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.
