He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Francis Bentz and Helen McDonald Bentz; and his sister Patricia Bentz Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn DeBord Bentz; his children, Adriane Bentz Matsenbaugh (Gary), Reece C. Bentz, Jr., Chadwick R. Bentz and Julie; his siblings, Rose Bentz Bellipanni, Fred Bentz (Rita), Gaynell Bentz Schruff (McCall), Dian Bentz Bradley (Jimmy), Pearl Bentz Benigno (Jimmy), Beth Bentz Maldonado, Beverly Bentz Ridgeway (Roger), Katherine Bentz Mallini (Tommy), Robert Bentz (Shelly) and Donny Bentz; and his grandchildren, Grace, Maxwell Matsenbaugh, Anna Marie, Madison Bentz, Lillieann, Madilynn and Chadwick Bentz, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church Building Fund, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS 39571.
