He is survived by: his wife Patricia Townsend of Oxford, MS; his children, Willie Wayne Townsend of Oxford, MS, Chad Blackmon of Oxford, MS and Porsche Blackmon-Pierre (Regine) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Marquis Townsend of Oxford, MS, Kendrick Lee Blackmon, Jr. of Oxford, MS, Ke'Yanna Blackmon of Oxford, MS, Kylan Blackmon of Oxford, MS, Kensley Blackmon of Oxford, MS, Tamarcus Blackmon of Oxford, MS and Kingston Blackmon of Memphis, TN; his great grandchildren, Kaisleigh Blackmon of Oxford, MS and Kyler Blackmon of Booneville, MS; his godchildren, Christine Dixon Fox of Charlotte, NC and Mike Edmonds of Colorado Springs, CO; and his siblings, Elizabeth Lawrence of Memphis, TN, Alice Jones of Oxford, MS, Annie Lois Davis of Indianapolis, IN, Edward Townsend (Yvonne) of Muskegon, IL and Doll Townsend, Jr. (Deborah) of Memphis, TN.
