With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Thomas DeHart Jr. (Oxford, Mississippi), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; and his parents, Clara Ridgeway Stewart and Robert "Bob" Thomas DeHart. He is survived by: his brothers, Chris DeHart (Stephanie) and Jobe DeHart (Denise) of Mt. Royal, NJ; his children, Elizabeth DeHart Seemann (Ken) of Oxford, MS, Trey DeHart of Memphis, TN and J. De; his grandchildren, Gabrielle McChesney (Ben) of Chicago, IL and Dominick Platt; and his great grandchildren, Aiden of Chicago, IL, Zoey of Chicago, IL, Ivy McChesney of Chicago, IL, Cole of Chicago, IL and Caroline Platt of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Tom's honor to Island Community Church or LeBonheur Children's Medical Center, Memphis, TN.
