He is survived by: his children, Teresa Mathis (Dennis) of Abbeville, MS, Robert Buford of Abbeville, MS, Johnnie Buford (Linda) of Abbeville, MS and James Buford (Vester) of Abbeville, MS; his sisters, Willie Mae Mathis of Abbeville, MS and Rosie Pearl Terrell (Eddie) of Davenport, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Carter, Mattie Young, Paulette Logan, Elizabeth Miller, C. W. Young, Elbert Logan, Joe Willie Logan and Sherman Miller. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
