With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Crawford Cox of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Crawford and Sallie Etta Peeler Crawford. She is survived by: her children, Judy Andrews of Oxford, Mississippi, LaNell Allen of Oxford, Mississippi, Kathy Rice (Randy) of Jackson, Tennessee, Vickie Cobb (Ted) of Petersburg, Tennessee, Glynn Cox of Starkville, Mississippi and Mike Cox (Debbie) of Cordova, Tennessee; her siblings, Mary Nell Wimbs of Tampa, Florida and B. C. Crawford of Oxford, Mississippi.; and her husband Joe Cox. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
In lieu of traditional flowers, the family has requested that monetary contributions be given to 21st Century Global Mission P.O. Box 277, Fulton, MS 38843.
