With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lemuel Lee Smith (Oxford, Mississippi), who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Brandon and Maudie Brandon; his birth mother Brendie McGlofin; and his son Rusty Smith. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Duncan Smith of Oxford; his children, Judy Smith Mills (Jimmy) of Oxford and Don Smith (Penny) of Oxford; his stepsister Carolyn McGlofin of Florida; and his grandchildren, Joy Rowsey, Jacob Mills, Ryan Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Caroline Smith and Thad Smith. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
