He was predeceased by: his father John Price; his wives, Lillie and Sara; his children, James Calvin, Lee Russell and Frankie Price; his grandchildren, John Wayne Frierson, Racheal Price and Cordanus Thompson; his siblings, Ernest, Willie, Cal, Ellie Hue, Beatrice Price and Etta Mae Braziel; and his close friend Eunice Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Buford of Coffeeville, MS, John Price (Vivian) of Oxford, MS, Diane Price McGlown of Oxford, MS, Barbara Thompson of Oxford, MS, Maren Denise Crowder of Olive Branch, MS, Phyllis Gipson (William) of Oxford, MS, Aundra Price (Brenda) of Canton, MS and Stanley Price (Janet) of Houston, TX; and his sister Barbara Ann Kimmons of North Carolina. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; 24 great-great grandchildren.
