He is survived by: his wife Mildred Smith; his daughter Makeesha Johnson; his siblings, Mattie Crawford (Bob), George Smith (Annie) and Carlos Smith; his stepchildren, Lesa, Alice and James Williams; and his friend Please. He is also survived by two grandchildren and 12 step grandchildren.
