It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Lane III (Oxford, Mississippi), born in Pittsboro, Mississippi, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lane Jr. and Helen McMurtrey Lane. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lane of Oxford; his children, Laura Lane Widerkehr (Bob) of Chattanooga, Mark Lane (Elizabeth) of Missoula, Montana and Claire Lane Fowler (John) of Hernando; his sister Diane Lane of Grenada; and his grandchildren, Lane Widerkehr, Hannah Widerkehr, Murray Lane, John Coleman Fowler and Helen Fowler.
