It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennie Brumfield of Oxford, Mississippi, born in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Eugene Brister, Sr. and Wadie Janet Boone Brister; her husband Robert White Brumfield (Bob White); her siblings, Fred Eugene Brister Jr. and Louise Brister Bratton; her son-in-law John Gaston Swords; and her close friend Helen Beacham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Brumfield (Glory Sanders), Brenda Brumfield Swords and Dennie Elizabeth Brumfield Naugle (Tom Naugle); her grandchildren, John Gaston Swords II (Raven) and Margaret Elizabeth Swords; and her sister Hazel Jean Newman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
