She was predeceased by: her father William Thomas Coaten; her husband Thomas Wesley Johnson; her daughter Linda Mae Johnson Anderson; and her siblings, A. C. Coaten, Creed Coaten, Lottie Mae Coaten Welch and Dorothy Rose Coaten Berry.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Johnson Evans (Wayne) of Oxford, MS, Diana Jean Johnson Davis (L. A.) of Oxford, MS, Cathy Lynn Johnson Notestone (Mike) of Monticello, GA, Brenda Loyce Johnson Gill, James Thomas Johnson (Mary East) of Oxford, MS, Donald Wayne Johnson (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, FL and Michael Stephen Johnson (Vicky) of Oxford, MS; and her son-in-law Ottis Anderson of Oxford, MS. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
