She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howard and Ada Lee Chisholm; her husband Franklin "Buddy" Cornelius; her children, Ragennia Sowell, Lee Cornelius and Jimmy Cornelius; and her brothers, Mac Chisholm and Danny Chisholm.

She is survived by: her son John Parker (Carla); her grandchildren, Chad Parker, Cody Parker, Alayna Parker, Amber Sowell, Angie Martin, Rockeal Cornelius, Jeremy Cornelius, Jonathan Mercer and Josh Cornelius; and her nieces, Tanna Jango and Brandy Beaman. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
