It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Young of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, born in San Perlita, Texas, who passed away on August 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Young of Ocean Springs; and his parents, George Young and Gladys Young of Raymondville, TX.. He is survived by: his children, Kay Beth Thomas (David), Cindee Holloway (Darrel) and Jimmy Young (Sheryl); his grandchildren, T. J., Bobby, Billy, Jamie, Erin, Nathan and Kelden; his great grandchildren, Laura, Ben, Hannah, Lillian, Gabe, Hayden, Charlotte and Sophia; and his brother George Young (Kathryn) of Raymondville, TX..

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ocean Springs.
