She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Carlson and Annie Lyons Bounds; her grandparents, Reuben Edgar and Celestine Bosarge Lyons; her daughter Jill Christine Barret; and her husband George Fikes.
She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Corson (Bobbie); her granddaughters, Jessica and Megan; her sister Jeanette Thomas; her cousins, Nettye Carter and Rebecca Burns; and her friend Steve Castleberry. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
