He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Cadena and Amelia Garcia Cadena. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Camie Carrisalez (Hector), Veronica O'Malley (Steve) and Kim Smith (Stephen); his grandchildren, Lauren O'Malley, Nicholas O'Malley, Diego Carrisalez, Dakota Carrisalez and Payton Abner; and his siblings, Jessie Garcia, Joseph Cadena and Yvonne Bauer (Andraes).

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter.
