It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Estes Carter (Noxapater, Mississippi), who passed away on December 19, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Littleton "Wert" Worthy and Lottie Craig Estes; her husband J. C. Carter; her siblings, Maxine McCool, Dee Estes, Wayne Estes, Bob Estes and M. O. Estes; and her brothers-in-law, Dee McCool and Don Woodruff.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Spiers (Graylon) of Starkville, Mississippi.; her granddaughter Leslie Spiers; her siblings, Jean Woodruff and Jerry Estes (Ilene) of Louisville; and her sisters-in-law, Patti Estes, Sylvia Estes, Faith Estes and Jane Estes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
