It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Estelle Thrash Whipple (Newton, Mississippi), born in Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hoye and Addie Mae Nester Pace; her husbands, John T. "Jack" Thrash and Frank R. Whipple; her siblings, Hoye E. Pace (Glyn), Stanley G. Pace (Jean), Tommy N. Pace (Pauline) and Martha Pace May (William); and her nephew John Pace.
She is survived by: her sister Pat Pace Tatum (Oscar); her nieces and nephews, Theresa "Terri" May Vance (Larkin), Kathy Pace Pope (David), Glen Pace (Cate), Barry Pace (Rhonda), Garry Pace (Wanda), Mike Pace (MarChelle), Kim Pace, Ricky May (Carol), Jerry May (Gina) and Jeff May (Teresa); and also Pat Brown. She is also survived by six children.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons International or American Cancer Society.
