She was predeceased by: her son Dwayne Carmichael; her granddaughter Oree Mulford (Chris); her parents, Charles S. Sellers and Verladee Martin Sellers; and her siblings, Eunice Hagan, Rev. F. E. Sellers and Dan Sellers.
She is survived by: her children, Valeda Carmichael of West Point and Henry Carmichael (Robbie Ann) of Newton; her daughter-in-law Lee Carmichael of Newton; her granddaughters, Kate Farmer (Jamey), Bess Kelly (Ben), Sarah Vance (Hunter) and Audrey Garrison (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Charlie Carmichael, Calhoun Farmer, Eli Carmichael, Hank Garrison, Jolee Kelly and Stetson Vance; and her siblings, Wiley Sellers of Brooklyn, Ina Faye Miller (Johnny) of Petal, Bethel Eubanks (Johnnie) of Bristol, FL, Mary Swilley of Wiggins and Charles Sellers (Peggy) of Brooklyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
