We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Iris Mabry (Newton, Mississippi), born in Lawrence, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George "Buddy" Mabry; her children, Vicki Duran and Mitch Mabry; her grandson George David Mabry, Jr.; her parents, Virgil Evans and Bertha Monk Evans; and her siblings, Penny Gill, Charles Medford Evans and Ernest Neil Evans.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Avery Wolfe; her siblings, Billie O'Bannon and Jerry Evans; her children, David Mabry (Fay), Linda Montgomery (Ray) and Cathy Griffin (Larry); and her son-in-law Gerald Duran (Jan). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations by made to Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, 951 Gibbstown Rd., Lawrence, MS 39336.
