She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Yelverton, Sr.; her parents, Arthur Broome and Nancy Broome; and her brothers, R. J. Broome, J. L. Broome, E. B. Broome, Arthur Broome and Wesley Broome.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Yelverton, Jr. (Becky), Marshall A. Yelverton (Cindy), Joseph A. "Joey" Yelverton and Melinda Jane Williams; and her brother Shelly Broome (Maxie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
