She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Simmons; her parents, Clint Gressett and Ludie Mae Gressett; her siblings, Ruth Walker, Geneva Murphy, Dennis Gressett and Billy Gressett; and her granddaughter Tasha Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Simmons (Camille) and Torey Simmons (Kenny Fayard); her siblings, Inez Simms, Betty Crane (Tom), Victor Gressett and Larry Gressett (Minnie); and her nephews, Paul Walker, Jeff Walker, Joey Gressett, Justin Gressett, Jamie Gressett, Wiley Walker and Ricky Crane. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
