We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2022, at the age of 74, Kay Gafford Smith (New Albany, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Dewitt Gafford and Edith King Gafford. She is survived by: her husband James W. Smith; her son Jim R. Smith (Allison); her siblings, Jo Hopkins (Bill), George Gafford (Sandra) and Ray Gafford (Barbara); and her grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Lane Gordon and Laken Gordon.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
