He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Francis Didier and Ethel Louise McBride Didier; his wife Jane Gregory Didier; his son-in-law Richard Erwin "Ren" Nelson; his sister-in-law Kay Rinehart; and also, Gladney and Ann Gregory.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Ellen Nelson of New Albany and John Daniel Didier, Jr. (Michelle) of Hattiesburg; his brother David Didier (Debbie) of Grantsville, Georgia; his brother-in-law Bill Daniel (Tricia); and his grandchildren, Merill Didier, Owen Didier, John David Nelson and Gregory "Guppy" Nelson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Media Gratae, a ministry of Christ Church.
