He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Knox Dular Stokes and Mary Cruse Stokes; his wife Lillie Beatrice Harris Stokes; his son Clifton Stokes (Brandi) of Pontotoc, MS; his godchildren, Alaysia Nesbit and Da'quan Stricklin; his grandchildren, Delaiah and Cannon Stokes; his siblings, Billy Stokes (Lisa) of Blue Mountain, MS and Teresa Stokes of New Albany, MS; his extended family, Georgia Mae Cruse and Maggie Moore (Mike); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Ivy (Harol), Bell Graham (William), Mary Harris (late Willie), Lula Stokes (late Ray) and Lawanda Wade (J. Q.). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
