It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debbie Roaten (New Albany, Mississippi), born in Union, Mississippi, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamont Merritt and Jennie Barkley Merritt; her sisters, Jean Guin and Angiela Smithey; and her brother-in-law Terry Dye.
She is survived by: her son Bradley (Nikki); her granddaughter Brooke Roaten of New Albany; and her siblings, Sue Chunn (Mike), Joyce Thomas (Billy Wray), Sandra Dye, Sherri Williams (David) and Danny Merritt (Leigh). She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
