It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Bennett Carter (New Albany, Mississippi), who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Lee Bennett and Olice Rudell Tate Bennett; her former husband William Malcolm Carter; her husband Charles E. Horne of Wichita; her brother W. T. Bennett; her sister-in-law Helen McDonald Bennett; her sister Peggy Joyce Bennett; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Holt Carter.
She is survived by: her children, William Bennett Carter (Benny) of Seattle Washington, Barrett Lee (Barry) and Betty Carter Kindler (Barry) of Lee's Summit. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
