He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edd Kirby and Doris Lorene Kirby; his brother James Edwin Kirby; and his pet Maddie Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kirby; his son John Robert Kirby (Tamela) of Gautier, MS; his sister Marilyn Kirby Kelly (Allan Kelly) of Baton Rouge, LA; his grandson Casey Martin (Victoria Martin); and his great grandchildren, Samuel Martin, Catherine Martin and Charlotte Martin of Gainesville, GA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
