He was predeceased by: his parents, Bueford Ratcliff and Euna V. Freeman Ratcliff; his former wife Mary Smith Ratcliff; his daughter Tammy Marie Ratcliff; his brother Martin Ratcliff; his grandson Justin Sterling; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Kole and Evelyn Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Dell Ratcliff; his children, Rayfield Ratcliff, III, Michael Ratcliff, Michelle Ratcliff Sterling, Melissa Ratcliff Evans, Stacey Wroten, Bubba Wroten and Ben Wroten; his sister Dezel Walker; and his pet Sofie. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
