She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Wallace and Blanch McFadden Wallace; her husband George Wiggins Johnston; her son Rev. Ricky Johnston; her brothers, Clayborne Wallace, Curtis Wallace, Cleon Wallace, Donald Wallace, Ellis Wallace and Edwin Wallace; and her son-in-law Rev. Robert Leon Dunn.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Johnston (Shelly) of Franklin, TN, Brady Johnston (Marsha) of Savannah, TN, Karen Dunn of Hammond, LA and Emily Thornhill (Bartley) of Summit, MS. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
