It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Smith of McComb, Mississippi, born in Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Alvin and Edith Sullivan; her husband James W. Smith (Jim); her siblings, Shirley and Jerry Sullivan (Ellen Sullivan); her brothers-in-law, Charles May and Virgil Brawley; and her great grandchild Allie Shepherd.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Shepherd (Mark); her grandsons, J. T. (Lindsay), Jacob (Daley) and Clay (Christy); her great grandchildren, Ethan and Stella; her sisters, Ellen May and Anne Brawley (Steve Chester); her nieces, Lisa May, Renee Whiteside (Tom), Lee Ellen McDonald (John) and Lynn Barnes (Paul); and her great-niece Jessi Hutson (John Martin).
