She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Payne and Walton Payne; and her brother-in-law Greg Tanner. She is survived by: her husband Jim Thomas; her sister Susan Payne Tanner; her daughters, Stephanie Tanner Hewitt (Rick), Hannah (Tanner House), Rebecca Tanner Nowell (Justin), Carrie (Tyler Nowell) and Finley Nowell; her close friends, Mitzi Jackson, Nancy, Dick Stevens, Delores, John Smith and Melissa Greer; and also, Beverly Thomas Martens (Erv), Delores Thomas Hoernke (Jerry), Joanne Thomas Bader (Russell) and Carol.
