She was predeceased by: her husband Reid Rushing. She is survived by: her daughters, Katie Seago Temple (Podgie) of Hattiesburg, MS and Keri Seago Sanders (Brian) of McComb, MS; her stepchildren, Ron Rushing of Summit, MS and Sarah Rushing of McComb, MS; and her grandchildren, Taylor Gatlin, Lola Gatlin, Layne Gatlin, Davis Temple, Georgia Kate Temple, Hastings Temple, Joey Rushing, Maggie Rushing, Burke Haney and Pallie Rushing.
In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Betty Rushing's honor can be made to Central Baptist Church.
