He is survived by: his wife Diane Mills Carter of Lambert, MS; his children, Michele Musick (William) of Sebring, Jessie Carter of Travelers Rest, SC, Matt Carter (Juanita) of Loganville, GA and Michael Carter (Tiffany) of Batesville, MS; and his sisters, Virginia Mangus (George) of Pickwick, TN, Marty Anderson of Abilene, TX and Betty Kirby of Houston, MS.. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren.
