He was predeceased by: his father Jack Phillips; and his son Jack Franklin "Jackson" Phillips, Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Franklin Phillips (Jana) of Madison, MS and Joseph; his mother Louie Nell Phillips Snyder of Calhoun, GA.; his sister Stephanie Gayle Pritchard (Mike) of Powder Springs, GA.; his grandchildren, Eloise Phillips, Edie Jane Phillips, Easton Phillips, Joseph Isaac Phillips and Elisabeth Kathryn Phillips; and his nephew Stephen.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Gideons International.
