Helen L. Alston Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2021, Helen L. Alston of Marks, Mississippi, born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thompson and Alice Oswalt; her husband Thomas Alston; and her brother Edward Oswalt (Eddie). She is survived by: her sister Betty Lou Woolfolk (Carol) of Houston, TX; her daughters, Linda Gatlin (David) of Crystal Springs, MS, Paula Hill (Donny) of Crystal Springs, MS and Cheryl Green (David) of Lambert, MS; her grandchildren, Shane Long, Courtney Long and Natalie Heafner; and her great grandchild Taylor Heafner. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make memorials to Marks First Baptist Church.
