He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Weems and Irene Weems; his wife Poem Weems; and his parents-in-law, Mary Lou and Strom Holloway.

He is survived by: his son Jason "Bo" Weems (Allison); his grandsons, Rhett and Bowen Weems; his siblings, Elaine Johnson (Bill) and Frankie Weems (Beverly); and his sister-in-law Gayle Shifalo (Tony).

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Madison United Methodist Church, 100 Post Oak Road, Madison, Ms 39110.
