He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Webb Brame and Nancy Brame Capps; his stepfather John Capps; and his siblings, Cynthia Heard and Webb Brame.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Carol Brame of Madison, MS; his children, Lindsay Carol Casperson (Eric), Mary Allison Dotson (Alex) of Birmingham, AL and William Taylor Brame of Oxford, MS; his sister Ann Brame of New Orleans, LA; his brother-in-law Kenneth Heard, Jr. of Ridgeland, MS.; and his grandchildren, Caylee Casperson, Connor Casperson, Chloe Casperson and Luke Dotson.
